I have always marveled at ordinary people having full service chafers, why not just use the aluminum pan and the chafing rack, (that is what I always did) until I started my own catering business and knew I had to have a classy looking set of chafers. My heart was set on the stainless steel/gold combo by Winware! Checked out various sites for the same set (some were higher), it looked so elegant and when I received it even better. You may pay a little more than the $25.00 chafer but you have better quality and performance. My children purchased - 3 of the full size and two 4-qt ovals (same brand and style from AMAZON)for pre-Christmas 2011. Steamed very well, keep in mind that if you put cold food in a chafing dish it will take forever to heat the food, it should be warm. Awesome set for entertaining whether you are professional or not! S/N I would not use this at an outside BBQ...too elegant!

Used 5 of these for a Christmas buffet and the client LOVED them. They washed well and seem very well made. Predicting I'll get 10 years of heavy use out of them.

I am very disapointed in the 8 quart chafing dish. i purchased the 4 qt and the 6 qt and they a very beautiful with the mirror finish. However the 8 qt has a dull finish and the material seem to be thinner. After three attempts i will send all three 8qt dishes b
ack and get a 6 qt. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!

Solid chafer that didn't break the bank. Very upscale in apparance. The gold and silver contrast accents really accentuate our buffets when using them. I use this for my catering company. Works perfectly and we love the fact that it has built in cover holders on the back legs.

This product arrived and is of good quality. However, The picture posted has a Knob for the top.
What arrived was a "loop" handle. No big deal but, I do like the Knob look better.
There was a price point problem that this vendor rectified immediately! Kudos to them.
