This item arrived as promised. The knives are nice looking, but not quite as sharp as i'd hoped.

This set arrived ON its due date. (Ordered 3/05---Arrived 3/14, Estimated Delivery 3/09-3/14)I bought it for my 18yr old nephew who likes to cook and may want to be a Chef. It's Beautiful, to say the least! The carrying case looks very professional, and each piece comes wrapped in it's own vinyl sheath, with an individual plastic "dust"? baggie over that. Very nice! I had the butcher knife engraved and the carrying case monogrammed. Repeat: It's Beautiful :~}

Knife Set by BergHOFF were very very dull. My instructor could not used them at all. My review is thumbs down and it makes me wonder did the company realize that, because they had no problem of refunding my money.

The kit has a great assortment of tools. The bag is sturdy and well constructed. The knives are dull Dull DULL. My friend got hurt trying to use one on a carrot and I was completely unable to use them for a stage because of how awfully they perform. If you're going to sell knives, sell sharp ones.
