4form w/functionNov 30, 2009
By Lucia Naples "knowledge seeker"
The 4 quart Winward chafer is attractive and 'elegant' enough to mix with silver trays for a dining room buffet setting. Since you need to burn sterno there is a little odor from that but I chose this so it would not have to be plugged in. I think this would be nice on the patio or for outdoor buffet service as well.

4CHAFING DISHMay 20, 2009

This is a nice chafing dish for the price. It has good presentation and fits quite a bid of food. I am pleased with it and ended up buying another one.

Dish looks very nice. Seems to be well made. Nice large dish - will hold plenty of food.

1My worst experienceDec 18, 2009
By George
My experience with Tiger Chef is without a doubt the worst that I have ever had with any of the Amazon sellers. First of all their customer service stinks. Generally when you call you have to leave a message. They will call you back if and when it suits them. Of the four calls I made only one time was I able to speak to some person and he was not particularly courteous. The one time they called back they did not resolve the issue. Here is what happened.

We ordered this item on December 1. My wife needed it - and specifically it - for the holidays. They send me the wrong item. I call on a Friday, leave a message and get a response on the following Monday. They promised to send me the right items immediately and asked me to put the return lables on the unwanted items and leave it for the UPS people to pick up WHEN THEY DELIVERED THE RIGHT ITEMS. They also said in an e-mail that they had arranged for the UPS people to pick the packages up the next day between 10 a.m. and noon. No UPS for five days. I wait till the next Friday and call. I leave a message. Nobody bothers to return the call. On Monday I try again. For the first time a rather rude person answers the telephone. He claims that they will send the items that very day. Well, it is December 18, Christmas is approaching and the item is not here; there is no place to complain; my calls and e-mails have gone unanswered.

I would give these people negative stars if I could.
