Being new to pizzelle making, I appreciated using this mix the first few times. They tasted great and were very crisp. Easy to make too.

My husband got the Pizzelle Mix for a new machine he also got on Amazon. He had memories of having pizzelles as a kid and wanted to taste that old taste again. He bought some anise to go in his pizzelles and voila! The taste from his memory was in our kitchen!! Now he can make pizzelles any time he wants to, and often does. I love watching his eyes light up as he makes the thin cookies from his past. Not many things can light up the eyes of a 65-year-old man these days but pizzelles sure do!

I purchased the pizzelle maker because I love the store bought kind. Sometimes however, they can be a little stale so I wanted to make "fresh". Well, this little automatic pizzelle maker is wonderful. You need to experiment as to how much batter to put on the iron but once you get the hang it is easy. The whole batch turned out great. This is a nifty device and I now intend to make them as a regular part of my cookie list during holidays.
