makes great wafflesJun 09, 2010
This is my first waffle iron & after a few weeks I've been eating a lot of waffles.Good quality and easy clean up as long as you don't overfill and cause overflow.Makes perfect waffles in just a few minutes.Simple controls and heats up fast.So far the non stick is slick and the waffles come right out.First batch was the best waffles I've ever eaten.
Only Good for Two Batches of Waffles....Jun 06, 2010 We used the Chef's Choice M850 twice. The waffles were good. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to really test out the different settings. The third time we plugged it in, it started fine but then started beeping and flashing 7:77 in the display. Now, whenever we plug it in, it only does that: beeping and flashing 7:77. It doesn't even heat up.
I'm contacting Chef's Choice customer service tomorrow and will add to my review based on that experience.

Makes wonderful, crisp waffles FAST! *UPDATE!Oct 01, 2009 I love this waffle maker. I also have the Cuisinart waffle maker which I use at the same time when making waffles for the whole family. The Cuisinart makes soggy waffles in double the amount of time. Chef's Choice is much, much better.
UPDATE:
I had to change my rating! It makes great waffles but it is only nonstick for about six uses! Now I have to pry the waffles off the iron while trying not to scrape the surface. I spray tons of oil on it each time I add the batter too. Now its to the point that the waffles wont come off period, I guess I can't use it anymore.
Waste of money.

Waited to review to ensure an accurate assessmentAug 10, 2009 Our family has wanted a waffle maker for a long time so this year we decided to take advantage of Mother's Day (sorry!) and ordered this product as a gift to my wife. We have used it many times in three months and I can say that it produces an excellent waffle with easy clean-up. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Waffle MakerMay 10, 2009 My 1st waffle maker... it works great !
The 12 waffles I've made came out excellent...
Easy to use... fast... adjustable settings... no oil needed to prevent sticking...
The 1st unit I received didn't work after 5 minutes... no signs of life.
Amazon was super excellent getting a replacement to me the next day !
The manufacturer even answered my phone call and answered my questions... also offered follow-up help if the replacement unit had issues.
