great knife for serious cooksApr 14, 2010 Very nice knife. Long blade with a sharp point for large food prep and for delicate work. Quite sharp out of the box. Likely will last the better part of a century, as I have some F. Dick knives from 1905 in the collection and they still sharpen up very well indeed.
A Wonderful Chef Knife to Upgrade forJan 21, 2010 I used to have the stardard knife that was issued in my knife kit as a culinary student, but now with this new knife I feel like I have a knife to fit my title of Chef. The balance is amazing, the grip is so much more comfortable than wood or plastic, and you dont even feel the steel on the handle. The blade is so sharp! I love this knife, I couldn't have made a better choice. If your serious about your passion for Culinary and want a knife that will on advance you down further paths, this is the one!
