These are kind of adorable.Mar 07, 2010 Well you need a deep (at least a few inches) pan and a lid for it and a little bit of oil or shortening for the 'pod'.
I don't know anything about poaching eggs so it was an experiment for me and my 13 year old.
It does pop out a perfect shaped little egg, with either a soft or medium or firm yolk depending on how long you cook it.
It is a little difficult to know exactly how long to cook it to vary that yolk, but I guess practice tells.
It does seem pretty easy to clean. It was easy to put in the water and take out. It was easy to get the eggs out.
I can't think of much more to say about it. It does what it says it does as far as I'm concerned and looks cute doing it.
The package is one middling-green and one light-green (not the two dark shown in some of the pictures here).

I'd give this product zero stars if that was an optionMar 01, 2010 If you want a perfectly formed poached egg that tastes like rubber - and you have 20 minutes to cook the egg, go ahead and buy this. It was a waste of my money.
Love these things!Feb 28, 2010 Originally bought two sets, one for me and one for my mother. I thought mine was great and Mom liked them so much she had me order three more sets to give as gifts.
THE BEST egg poacher on the market!Feb 25, 2010 I've tried a lot of gadgets and little pans that are supposed to poach eggs for you, but i have to say that this one is THE BEST. It is the ONLY one i would recommend to other people. It flawlessly cooks your eggs in a perfect round shape and easily pops out of the cooker 100% of the time. It's fool proof.
Just bring water in a pan to a simmer, spay the cups with non-stick spray and cook to your desired hardness (about 7-10 minutes). I love these little pods so much that i'm buying more as soon as i'm done writing this review.
I can have poached eggs again, yea!Feb 16, 2010 I really love poached eggs, but never mastered the simmering water method. I love Poach Pods; they make beautifully shaped and perfect eggs. And they are easy to clean. My favorite kitchen addition in years!
