VERY GOOD KNIFESep 05, 2010
By Fella73 I recently purchased the "Knuckle Sandwich" 8" Chef Knife and the 5-1/2" Santoku Blade. I worked in the restaurant business for years and went to Culinary school, so my idea of a good knife meant it had to be JA Henkle or Wusthof. With that said, my reason for trying the Guy Fieri signature knives was due to affordability and the fact that there are some good reviews out there already. Bottom line, the knives are great and surpassed all my expectations. You can't get better knives for the price.
The design is unique in that the blade is not flush with the handle, which actually improves your control and the feel is very natural. The look is up to debate. Some people like the red flame graphics and some don't. I personally don't care either way, the important thing is the knives cut beautifully and feel sturdy in your hand. I have used all kinds of knives from my classic 10" Wusthof to all the $30-$50 knives you find at retail chains around the country.
If you are looking for professional quality knives for less than half the price of the big name brands, you should consider the Knuckle Sandwich collection.

If you're afraid of super-sharp, stay away from thisJun 22, 2010
By Homie Wow! Talk about sharp. I cut a grape paper-thin just for the fun of it. The knife has a very good heft to it, and a strange sense of balance. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it feels like it wants to move forward during the cut thereby making it easier to use. On first impression, it's one of the best knives I've ever owned. OK, it was a Father's Day gift, but I still own it.

Great purchaseFeb 13, 2010
By Chef Kimmie This knife is a great purchase. I am a chef and am picky with knives. I buy several knives to try out different ones and spend a lot of money doing so. This knife is great quality and feels good. Chef's recommendation.

knife is freaking amazingJun 16, 2010
By J. J. Rosenfeld I got this knife because one of my customers sells it. Before I always would use a Henckells, and disdain any other knife.
this is an awesome kitchen tool, as a chef's knief, but with the ability to control it and use it for paring and many other functions becasue of the size and handle design.
I would give this knife as a gift to a Top Chef master.
