Doesn't work as well as expectedMay 04, 2011

Not much to expect from a loaf pan. I was hoping that the silcon would make it easier to remove the cooked loaf
than it sometimes is from a metal pan. Not so. The ridges on the bottom (which are there for stability?) were a disaster, I could not get my bread to let go of the bottom of this pan.I pre-treated as directed (flour/oil). So, I am not sure what the advantage is of this type of pan, it is more expensive, and performs worse than metal pans.
