Naughty fun without being pornographic.May 12, 2007

This follow up to "Naughty Cakes" is much on the same thread: suggestive and sexy without being out right obscene.
The ideas are fun and flirty and do leave room for personal imagination if you were wanting to do something raunchier, which means you might want to be careful about leaving the book lying about where a young reader might find it. (My 5 year old nephew came across the first book on a visit, opened the pages at random and wanted to know why there where "pink bubbles hanging out the car windows?")
The instructions are easily understood and like all of Debbie Brown's cake books the measurements are in metric but can be figured out easily enough. The pictures in this book are as much fun to look at as planning the event you intend to craft one of these cakes for.
Definate must for the serious cake addict!

Debbie Brown's books are really well written, with a lot of step by step directions along the way. This book is no exception to that rule. It is funny and not really very naughty at all! The only thing about her books that I don't care for is her cake receipe. It is dry and gets hard quickly. She does waste a lot of cake in her carving process. She seems to be all about the "look", not the total taste of the cake. Still, I do recommend all of her books, just know that you will have to do some modifiying when it comes to using her designs.

Just so you knowMar 30, 2012
By kristy's cakes The Book itself is great, Love it! However I got a good deal on all three books by Debbie Brown (Naughty cakes, seriously Naughty cakes, and Xtra Naughty cakes)on Amazon and when I got them today I was very upset. They all have different names and different cover pictures, but mostly the same cakes and photos?? Just so you know if you buy one you really don't need all three

Xtra naughty cakesDec 23, 2009
By AFCC A bit dissapointing...seems to repeat the same thing over and over and same as other book, cute, but a bit cliche.
